Phil Krick

Phil Krick has been an active member of the PGA of America for more than fifty years. He discovered golf at an early age while caddying at a local golf course near his hometown of Roselle Park, New Jersey. As an accomplished player he participated on the PGA Tour that included 3-U.S. Open Championships. He won the 1981 Kentucky Open over Frank Beard, Larry Gilbert and Kenny Perry and captured the Kentucky PGA and Senior PGA Championships.

Krick’s experience has also included Head Golf Professional positions at upscale country clubs and PGA Board of Director positions. Later in his career, Krick found new success as a teaching professional and coach of several PGA and LPGA players including 2003 LPGA Rookie of the Year, Beth Bauer. However, he finds it most rewarding to be able to help golfers of any ability to learn how to play better and enjoy the game of a lifetime. Krick previously taught for Ben Sutton Golf Sutton from 1993 to 1998 and again in 2003 before returning in 2006.

What our students have to say about Phil

My son Nick and I attended the golf school in March 2008. I am contacting you and want to contact our instructor Phil Krick to thank you and Phil and also to share with you Nick's success. Nick has been in the top 10 in most of the events played with his high school. He tied for first in one event and most recently was the medalist in the district tournament shooting a 4 under par 68. Nick and the team Flint Powers Catholic high school are competing in the State finals this Friday and Saturday (June 6 & 7, 2008) at Forest acres in Lansing Michigan. We are hoping to bring home a state title. Thank you for having a great school and for bringing excellent instructors to teach. Keep up the good work. Please forward this to Phil and send me Phil's e-mail.

Thank you.
