Jan Kleiman

Jan Kleiman has been an instructor at Ben Sutton Golf School since 1994. Kleiman was introduced to golf by her father at the age of 12 on a nine-hole golf course in Rushville, Indiana and has been in love with the game ever since.

While earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, Kleiman competed on the Indiana University Women's Golf Team for four years. She turned professional in 1984, played on the LPGA tour for three years, competed in seven U.S. Women's Opens, won two Futures Tour events, and is the second all-time leading money winner on the Future's Tour.

Kleiman's favorite experience about teaching at the Ben Sutton Golf School is working with so many golfers from so many different golfing backgrounds. "It's challenging and fun to discover what each golfer wants for his or her own golf game, and then to help them get there," she says.

When she's not teaching, Kleiman's hobbies include most sports. Golf, fitness, fishing and basketball are at the top of the list.
