Cindy Fisher
Avid golfing friends in Southern California first introduced Cindy Fisher to golf in 1980. One morning, about a year later, Fisher woke up and realized she had been dreaming of playing the game! Fisher took up the game more seriously, taking lessons and soon played as an amateur in both state and national events.
In 1990 she joined the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division and continued to play as a professional in several local and LPGA events. Rehabilitation time from an automobile accident in 1993 gave Fisher the opportunity to return to school and earn her Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She returned to teaching golf and has used this education to help students with any type of physical limitations play and improve.
Fisher began her second stint at Ben Sutton Golf School in 2005, having taught here from 1994 to 1998. She is also a member advisor for the LPGA assisting new professionals to meet certification requirements and is the author of a visual guide book for new golfers entitled: The 'S' Fundamentals - Simple Golf. Her hobbies include boating, traveling, woodworking, hiking and skiing.
