What is the Players Golf School?

The Players School is for lower handicap golfers, specifically players with a handicap of 12 or lower. Being grouped with players of more advanced skill, you spend less time on the basic fundamentals and more time learning to refine your golf skills. You'll work on and improve your scoring around the green, shot making and course strategy. And you'll spend time on video analysis enabling you to better understand your swing. More importantly how to self correct your swing.

Advanced Players Golf School Curriculum

Here's what you'll learn at our Advanced Player Golf Schools.

• Fundamentals Refined. Being a player, you won't spend hours and hours on the basics. But sometimes the simplest little tweak leads to a tremendous improvement. So we'll take a look at your swing and see where your swing fundamentals can be improved. No swing reconstructions and no method instruction. Simply refined fundamentals as it applies to your golf swing.


• Learning your golf swing. Most of us swing it well immediately following a lesson. In the players school you'll spend more time focusing on understanding your golf swing, learning how to better self correct if it starts going bad for you. And you'll learn practice drills and tips especially effective for you.


• Course strategy. Navigating the golf course with your professional gives you the opportunity to see shots with an experienced set of eyes. Slight adjustments to your mental approach and/or shot selection can quickly shave a few strokes off your score.


• Practice techniques. Over the course of the school you'll learn practice drills and techniques specific to your golf swing.

Advanced Players Golf Schools Dates & Rates

For each class date below, only one school group (5 students total) is offered for the Advanced Players Golf School curriculum. Other standard schools may be held during the scheduled class date, but rest assured, if you sign up for a low handicap golf school you will be grouped with low handicap players, just like you. The Advanced Players Schools are offered one week each month in 3 or 4 day schools starting in February 2012 and ending in May 2012. No additional costs for this specialized curriculum.
